Become immersed in the French Revolution, from why it took place to the economic, political, and social reasons behind it. We discover the highlights of the Revolution, like where the weapons that were used to storm the Bastille were taken.
We also see the place where all the executions during the Terror took place (Place of Concorde with the guillotine). Then we walk on Tuileries garden to see where Louis XVI was imprisoned and where Marie-Antoinette and his heir were held in jail (The Conciergerie).
After, we will discover the oldest cafe in Paris, where many philosophers… (Diderot, Voltaire, Montesquieu or Benjamin Franklin) of the Age of Enlightenment mingled and imagined a new world. In the end, we experience Paris through augmented reality while drinking a delicious beverage.
After traveling for nine months around the world and having travelers at home with Airbnb, I want to share my passion for the French Revolution and Paris with guests on this tour.
Together we walk around the beautiful places of Paris where major events of the Revolution took place. At the end of the tour, we will have a drink together in the oldest café of Paris where famous philosophers met during the Age of Enlightenment.
